A brick image house of the twelfth century, its walls still standing to a considerable height and enclosing a standing Buddha figure of about 13 metres, now headless.
The building shows how ambitious brick construction had become: walls four metres thick, a vaulted roof now lost, and decorative brickwork imitating a multi-storeyed palace facade on the exterior.
